YES! fast forward in B spec mode.
It is stupidly boring to just sit here. Sure, sometimes it is nice to throw it on as if it was a real life race and watch it, but after a couple of hours, it gets really lame really fast. Especially since there isn't any commentary that goes along with it, and the commands are so basic. It might not be so bad if there was a ton more dialog between you and the driver and not just a radio click on and off. After the first couple of races, the whole thing because redundant and b-spec gets ignored. -

Pretty boring without fast forward, GT6 will need a wee extra something to get me interested in b-spec, as far as i can see this is only for ultra nerds anyways.
An idea would be to have interactive mini games for changing the tires & parts, player intervention for when a b-spec race becomes heated, voice controlled race commands, fabricated race highlights & commentary rather than a full b-spec race... simple stuff really, strange this is not all common place for the racing simulation genre.

I cant believe they left out the fast foward feature!!! this is the worst part about gt5. and one of the best parts about gt4!!

The fast forward bspec was a feature that actully got me interested in bspec. I liked it because it was fast.

B-spec should be more like GT4's version, which would allow you to tell your driver to drive fast or push, cruise, or conserve and stay that way until further instructions are given. This way you could form your race strategy early or change it due to conditions, like you could in GT4, then you could fast forward.
I should NOT have to tell my driver are 30sec to Pace Up because he keeps slowing down. If I was running a Team in real life I shouldn't have tell him several times a lap to pick up the pace, he would be fired. This is a Racing Sim, not grocery getter sim. Your driver should Race, and follow your instructions and not suffer from short term memory loss forgetting he's in a race. -

They could put in an option to fast forward "x" number of laps, or fast forward the entire race if the player wants to.

Don't worry, as the cost of replacing PS3's builds up or pressure from ecologists they will learn to give pitstop game saves or B-spec fast forward, suuuuuurely!
