What would you change about Gran Turismo 5?

Ive always wanted the option to freely and manually add sections and elevations to the track. And please more themes! =)

I agree, I think the course creator is still limited. I remember playing a racing game in Playstation 1 where I can create a track whatever shape I want it.

I want to export custom tracks to the XMB because the current sharing system is a complete joke. You can only share one track at a time! Why can't we export the data like with Replays?!?!?!?!

It is really annoying that you have to become PSN friends with somebody just so they can try out your track, I wanna be able to test tracks from loads of people, some of the best by order of chance will be created by people you will likely not become PSN Friends with... so why are PD stopping us do this?!

Yes!!!!!!! I wanna make Special Stage Route X's straight longer!

They should make an option to change the custom tracks length so we can decide how long our tracks can be

A ps1 game call v-rally 2 had a great track editor, just imagine what the ps3 can do...

More themes. Free placement of curbs and objects. Point to Point layouts.

Adding more options would be nice, like sector length, and perhaps the amount of scenery around a sector (e.g. trees/walls/etc.) And more locations would be nice.

I agree with you on that, what I would like is to have South Bristol as a theme so I can see my house whilst I'm racing!
        Wouldn't that be awesome?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we will get Spa at least. Nevertheless, if you see how simple the arranged tracks from the course maker are, how can you really belief, that this would be beyond the limits of the PS3?

At least, I would like to know the real reason why we, still after Spec. 2.0, no fully (real) track editor have?
The mentioned rating would be also very necessary, to order the good tracks from the stupid kids-made rubbish.

I agree this would be really cool if it were like in MNR. But PLEASE remove the track limit or at least make it somewhat long. In MNR I could never make a track as long as I would like.

And if there is more freedom in course creator, maybe a browser of courses with ratings so we can find out the top rated courses like on rfactorcentral. And this could mean we can create temporary Spa or Complex String before an official one comes out.

Mod nation is a kids toy in comparison. No reason to state why, if you understood 3D modeling you would understand. The generator as you callit actually does some terrain modeling where the track lays out. MNR lays out a small area and has its limitations. If you saw the modeled mesh of GT's tracks compared to MNR you would understand why. There's probably a 100 to 1 poly count at the very least, not to mention overal track size. Besides isn't MNR really out of scope in comparison?

The editor (it's more a generator/arranger) now is really a bad joke. Actually just 50% of a tool, that so many people would like to have.
And why do many people believe that, a full editor would be beyond the capacity of the PS3??? MNR is the best proof, that a fully working editor would work. Now, is the editor just controlled by the A.I, but we want just to have the control on it.

Would be cool to be able to make tracks ourselves which could be from real life.

a downhill mountain pass theme would pretty much butter my biscuits : / i would absolutely love a touge theme for the course generator, as i think many others would too. a day and night and maybe rain setting for it would be all the sweeter too.

I agree it doesn't deserve the name "Course Creator," more like "Course Arranger."
There is not a lot of freedom.
GT this would be REALLY nice for some freedom in making our own courses!
