Livery Editor
Classic to current, or even the ability to add strips, etc. License plate editing was mentioned as an option years before the release, and I think it deserves more thought.

^lol, No. It's just a gameplay feature. It's just something PD hasn't found important enough yet. Perhaps it'll be a feature in GT6, but I'll be very angered if it's absent for a 6th straight title.

Why theres no Livery editor on GT5/for PS3?
Livery editor exclusive to Xbox/Forza?

I just recently borrowed my buddy's Xbox 360 & Forza 4(call me a traitor if you want) and to be honest, I fell in love with ability to buy and make your own liveries. Car after car that I bought I went straight to the Storefront and purchased a race livery, it made the whole experience of driving the car much better. Fast forward to now, I'm stuck in GT5's single color(plus all the type of paint) cars, and honestly this needs to change.

It sound be nice to earn money by placing sponsors' stickers on the car,so that if you meet certain requirements during the race the sponsors pay you.(race driver: grid)
the possibility to add liveries and to place single letters,so that you can create every sponsor you want(e.g. Forza Motorsport).
I'd also suggest to take a look at the vinyl editor in Midnight Club:Los Angeles;I know it's a pretty ridiculous game, but it has one of the best vinyls editor i've ever came across.
I know this livery thing will be exploited to create offensive/racist liveries, but with a sistem that allows player to report such liveries to PD this phenomenon can be keep under control. -

Having custom number plates isn't a half bad idea, Having your PSN name as your number would be useful actually, hate having all the HUD off and having no idea who is parked next to me.

Also, GT5 has a replay and photo mode. Obscenity is a photo upload and file complaint click away. Easy ingame mechanism to place.

It can and will good sir, because PD cares about their fanbase, they are more than capable, they have the funds (millions sold in games and DLC), and they will lose alot of their fanbase if they don't. It's just a matter of time, as they will not halfass it. Watch & see.

It will never happen, advertising costs money
Just think of all the kids putting obscene things on their cars
As for racing teams, make your accounts simular -

Right, so we should be able to make our own, weather it's for our own teams or individuality. Vinyls are good for racing games.

Would be good for clubs and teams to make ingame team/club vehicles. And to further distinguish your self from the crowd in races. This and further rim customization go hand in hand. An ingame club system was once talked about too. That would be cool. Ala TDU2.

I agree with Charles_burns01. Add a simple livery editor with enough custom colors and striping combos that you can create a family look for your garage - without going crazy. I also like the idea of getting credit for slapping sponsor stickers on, kind of like the current multi-day sign on bonus. And, finally: am I the only one who finds it annoying to be racing against a car with the same race number? Not ideal for photomode.

It would be epic if we could share our created liveries and sell them for credits to people for in-game credits at a 'Livery Store' or something, and if we could choose the price we want to sell it for. And take off the 20,000,000 credit limit and make it 200,000,000 Cr.
