Paint Preview
I want to check new paint color on car, and wheel before i actually apply it.
GT5 just provide paint color on dummy model, but i really wanna check new color on real one in different environment, just like dealership menu.

ya it would be amazing if we could add our own decals, AND YES OMG MAKE THE THE GT AUTO FASTER AND PAINT CHANGER give a demonstration first. That little car icon doesnt do justice.

the possibility to change the 2 colors of some cars that had 2 paints (like the viper, camaro 69, veyron, etc) and the color of the white lines Or try to put that paint job in other cars. May like a new option on the gt auto "decals" something like that
La posibilidad de poder cambiar ambos colores en autos que tengan dos pinturas diferentes como el veyron o el camaro el viper. Y tambien tener la posibilidad de ponerle las lineas blancas a otros autos y elegir los colores (tenerlo como una opción extra en el gt auto "calcomanias".

Spot on mate... its so hard to judge and i usually waste a few good paints due to painting 'blind' :)
Same with the wheels too.... i wasted 2 chrome paints on stupid cars... one does look better but the other i went back to original wheels as they seemed more 'chrome'...
PLUS - option to delete paints/racesuits/helmets that we dont like or want..
i have so many & only use a few... im not a fan of red but seem to get more red than any other colour.. my mates told me to stop sending them stuff :) -

Fix the color.. I wanted a flashy green and after losing it, my wheel was dark green -.-
- Fix them
- Add a real preview
- Let us control the car with the analog everywhere! Dealer, paint, mods etc..
- New paint with stripes, rust, decals and ability to paint our car with 2+ color
- Or a option for choosing if we want to paint the entire car with the same color or painting it with different color like the hood, top, trunk, door, fender.. -

Re-painting a car in real life without having at least some clue of how it will look is stupid aswell. I seriously doubt anyone with a little bit of sense would go through the cost and trouble to repaint a car without first having seen what it will look like.

Surely it would be better to fix/update/add to the best 'driving' sim around, rather than try to create the best 'pimp my ride' sim.....

Got my vote. TBH the paint chips idea seems a false starter; you can argue the realism of seeing the paint on a dummy model before painting the full car, but when would you ever be restricted to using a colour once only? PD, either assign cash values to each of the different paints, or change the system so that once you have the paint chip, you can use it as many times as you want. Keep the special paints (chrome, etc) as limited-use if needed, but I don't expect to only be able to paint my car black if I walk into the shop with a swatch; it's not Dulux mix and match! On that note, the ability to create custom paints would be welcome.

I remember i had to paint my Corvette 6 times to get a black on. 6 TIMES!!!!!! And the colors in the menu sometimes look darker than in the preview.

I think GT being a video game and all, that maybe some liberties ought to be taken in the interest of expedience and foresight. Look at it this way, an oil change takes but a minute, and there's no waste oil. That's not very realistic!

I think its a good idea as it saves you wasting paint colours if you've only got one of that colour. I painted one of my cars what i thought was black, but ended up being a very dark purple, which i only noticed during a race i think.
